Good evening all. 

 The negotiating committee will begin preparations next week. We will be off but available for emergencies. 

All but 3 grievances have been settled. We have reserved the right to arbitrate these grievances. One termination grievance is scheduled for arbitration. Those that have filed grievances, will be notified by one of the grievance committee members on the status of their grievance once the final document is signed. Should be on Monday.

The company and Union are in the process of a negotiations protocol, where, when, and  how. 

We should finalize details next week. Negotiation surveys are being handed out and are also attached here below. Please do not send it back through email. Print it off, if you didn’t get a hard copy, and hand a copy to one of the Chief Stewards or myself. We will collect them over the next few weeks so please fill it out and give your negotiating team some direction.

 Local 5328 wishes Andrew Chetwynd health and happiness in your new job!! Andrew has been our JHSC Co Chair for the last three years. We all knew he had very big shoes to fill as the position has been a strength with our Union. He did an amazing job filling those shoes and filled them perfectly!! He took the job very seriously  and had our best interest in mind. He  wore his heart on his sleeve! Thank you for the service you provided to our local and our members.
