I'm sure most have been informed of the management restructuring. The breakdown of who will be in charge of who is.

Jaideo Debie is appointed Technical Director of the Hamilton East Plant.

Jaideo is currently the Plant Director for Hamilton East.

Nichole Damas, Senior Coordinator, Continuous Improvement and Process Control, Paul Sparks, Senior Coordinator, Maintenance and Guillermo Jorquera, Project Manager, Building and Environment will report to Jaideo Debie.

This change will be effective from April 1, 2020.

Catherine Vinci is appointed Quality Director of the Wire group.

Gail Sokolov, Metallurgist, Hamilton East Quality, Maryam Chamaneh, Project Metallurgist, Hamilton East, Khushbu Kumari Singh, Project Metallurgist, Hamilton East as well as Lesmer Machalski, Metallurgist, St-Patrick Quality will report to Catherine Vinci.

Gerald Delvecchio is appointed Director, Operations and Quality Support for the Wire group.

This change will take effect from February 1, 2020.

Coming to our plant as the new Director of Operations, (Plant Manager), is Isabell Martinez. I have personally met Isabell on a few occasions and find her extremely personable and definitely approachable!! Isabell has a lot of energy and I’m absolutely sure this is a great move for our plant and members.

The Hamilton United Way will be doing a donation blitz in the coming weeks. For years many of us had a donation deducted from our pay, that is tax deductible. I’m guessing the last blitz was about 25 years ago. The United Way helps many organizations, people in need, in our community and are looking to us to sign up for a ongoing payroll deduction. $2, $5, what ever you can afford every two weeks will go a long way!! I’ll send more information in the coming week.

Congratulations to our upcoming retirements!!

The great thing about retirement is, you never get a “day” off!! You get them all off!!

Well done Gents! Enjoy!
