Good evening all. 

 Hope your enjoying your much needed time off in this crazy heatwave!! Stay hydrated!! 

 Sorry this took so long to get out to you all but as you see in the subject line, it’s revision 8 but should be 9!! 

 For those on the graduated wage scale, the last few months on the CEWS program counted towards hours worked. If your at or near your anniversary date of hire, go to HR and inquire about your hours and what point you will receive the next level of wages. Make sure the last two months are counted!! 

 At this time, the  company has not applied for period 5 of the CEWS so I would encourage  anyone that is on layoff to apply for EI. 

 If you do get laid off and are directed to the CERB program, unfortunately, the federal government has made it clear that we can not collect SUB pay.  This is being challenged in Ottawa by the USW District Director. 

 We were all going to receive an special return from the company  after the shutdown! The punch clocks were being moved to the die room/1 and 2 frame area as of this Friday.  The company will now wait until next Friday to move them. This means any clean up time, shower time, no matter what job your on, will be done on your own time!  What a treat!!?? We will discuss this further on Monday.
