President's Message - November 22, 2019

As you all may know, the Union committee meets the company every month. Last meeting we decided to not meet until all pay issues are resolved. 

We also had issues with union dues as well as payroll not forwarding governmental deductions that caused one of workers some serious issues. Enough is enough!  There will be someone from payroll at the plant on Monday. Lets hope it has come to an end.

 Reminder the Children's Christmas party is December 14 at 11:00am at the USW Steelworkers hall. If you have not registered your child, you may do so on line on our new website or forms are available by the main board at the plant. 

 Our next Union membership meeting is Thursday December 12 at 6:00 pm. It will also be our Christmas social so come out for some refreshments and a great meal. 

 We will doing a plant gate collection again this year for the St. Mathews House "Adopt a Family" program. Dates and times to follow. 

 Good luck to our home town team, The Hamilton Tiger Cats in the 2019 Grey Cup this Sunday!! (pool numbers are available on the Locals website)
