2024 JOE CRUGNALE SCHOLARSHIP

 Members of Local 5328.

 It’s that time where local 5328 will award a $500.00 Scholarship in honour of Joe Crugnale, a long time standing President and activist of Local 5328. The Scholarship will be awarded to a son, daughter, step son or step daughter of an active member of local 5328. 

Following is the eligibility criteria for the Joe Crugnale scholarship:

•The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time course of study leading to a diploma, certificate or degree from any publicly recognized college or university. With proof of enrolment. 

 •The applicant must submit an essay between 750-1000 words in length (French or English). 

•The essay must have a cover page with the student’s full name, address and contact number. In addition it should identify the name of the parent or guardian who is the USW 5328 member.

Essay Topics:

•The history of USW Local 5328

•Health and Safety and it’s importance in the work place. 

The deadline for receipt of essays is August 29, 2024. The winners will be notified prior to September 3, 2024.
