I have notified the company of the kiosk being down and not be able to view or print your pay statement.  It’s labour Law that the company have it in your possession on the day your paid or online access. It is up and running now.

Reminder, United way presentation at shift changes on Monday March 2.  2:00-3:30 and 6:00-7:30. You can opt to donate on your pays and the deduction will come off your pay and is tax deductible. 

 T4’s were supposed to be sent out but I understand from many that they did not receive them today? Typical!!

There is not much to report this time with the report from the Health & Safety Chair Andrew Chetwynd. I encourage everyone to please read his report.

What i would like to add is to please welcome our 3 newest members John France, Tim Ritchie and Brian Crabbe to this great local. Please introduce  yourselves to these fine Brothers when you see them around the plant.

-As most have seen, the hoists at the moto blocks are good to go and running. Station 6/7 is also released. Waiting on the status of the hoists in oil temper and straight and cut. 

 -Business is a bit slow so it’s that time where we are watched very closely!!! Be smart!!

 We have some safety issues at the plant that will affect where you may be working. 

 This started with an issue at Montreal's, St Patrick’s plant with their hoist rails.

Members and Retirees of Local 5328.

 I'm sure most have been informed of the management restructuring. The breakdown of who will be in charge of who is.

 Isabel Martinez is appointed Director of Operations for the Hamilton East Plant.

 Ronald Watkins, Senior Coordinator, Inventory and Warehouse and Adam Fleming, Senior Coordinator, Production will report to Isabel Martinez.

 Isabel and her family will complete a relocation process in the coming months. This change will therefore be in effect from April 1, 2020.
